Effect of Carbon Nanotubes on the Mechanical, Thermal, and Electrical Properties of Tin-Based Lead-Free Solders: A Review

چکیده
Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are being applied with increasing frequency for advanced soldering. They have excellent mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties primarily used to reinforce lead-free solders. This paper discusses the strengthening mechanism of CNTs, introduces preparation methods CNT composite solders, focuses on review tin-based solders reinforced unmodified CNTs metal-modified CNTs. The addition can effectively improve ultimate tensile strength, microhardness, shear creep resistance solder. However, practical application has been a challenge researchers decades. most significant issue is uniform dispersion due large density surface differences between Other concerns structural integrity their limited amount, solder wettability, interfacial bonding. only be widely in real sense when these challenges properly addressed overcome. At present, there lack comprehensive reviews covering structure, mechanism, method influence types effects.
